The Gap FC junior teams played over the weekend of 4-6 September in the Football Brisbane competition, with the following results:
- U12 BYPL lost 0-6 away to Taringa
- U12 Division 4 won 2-4 away to Toowong
- U12 Division 6 won 2-7 away to UQ
- U13 BYPL won 1-0 at home to The Lakes
- U13 Division 2 won 1-2 away to Brighton
- U13 Division 5 won 4-1 at home to Redcliffe
- U14 Division 1 won 2-1 at home to Bardon
- U14 Division 4 won 0-5 away to Pine Hills
- U15 Division 1 drew 0-0 away to Rochedale
- U15 Division 3 drew 0-0 away to Mitchelton
- U16 Division 1 lost 3-0 away to Oxley United
- U16 Division 2 lost 5-1 away to Logan Metro
Overall a strong performance by the Gap FC teams with 7 wins, 2 draws, and 3 losses.
Congratulations to the U12 Division 6 team which is now top of the table.
A special mention this week goes to Ashton W who scored the winning goal for the U14 Division 1 team in a hard-fought match on Sunday.
