The Gap Football Club is a fully inclusive community football club, offering football programs in The Gap to all ages since 1955. We are a not-for-profit, volunteer-led organisation with more than 850 playing members.
To support the ongoing growth of the club and our ability to continue to deliver exceptional footballing opportunities, we are now seeking a candidate for the recently created role of Club Manager.
Reporting to the Club’s Board of Directors, the Club Manager will be involved in all aspects of the day-to-day operation of the club, including management and administration related to the club facilities, growing the club’s sponsorship base, and assisting with the financial management of the club.
Working with a small team, this is an exceptional opportunity for someone who has previous experience in managing a sports club, or in the events management industry, and who has a desire to make a significant contribution to The Gap community. Being able to work autonomously, the successful candidate will be an outgoing individual, able to easily relate to others, and have a real ‘can-do’ attitude.
Whilst a full-time role, there will be flexibility in the actual hours worked week to week, with remuneration negotiable based on experience.
