The Gap Capital League 2 men's team has appointed Trevor Rohdmann as their new coach for 2016.
Originally from Bundaberg, Trevor started his coaching career as player / coach of Bingera Football Club which won many titles in the Bundaberg, Central Queensland and SEQ competitions in the '80s and early '90s.
He moved to Brisbane in 1996 and coached at North Pine Football club from 1996 to 2012, both as the senior team coach and as the Director of Junior Football. North Pine seniors won several lower Division 1&2 titles from 1996-2004.
From 2004-2005 Trevor focused on junior football but returned to the seniors in 2006, and in 2007 led them to the then Division 2 title and championship, and the following year to the Division 1 title and into the Brisbane Premier League (BPL) for the 2009 season.
After two years as their BPL coach, he moved back to the junior DOC at North Pine taking them to being one of only three Brisbane clubs to have representation in the then Cross River BJL competition from U13 to U17 which became the original NPL competition (called the Rebel League) of which North Pine had one of the six original granted licences for Brisbane clubs.
In 2012 Trevor took over coaching the North Pine BPL team again in his final year at the club.
After having a two-year break away from football, he took an opportunity with Newmarket in Capital League 2 in 2014, with the team missing promotion by one point that year.
Trevor says he now really wants to get back into coaching at a higher level, and is excited to be joining a club that shares his drive and ambition.

Preseason training will commence on Tuesday 3 December at 7pm and will run for three weeks every Tuesday and Thursday and reconvene after the Christmas break on Tuesday 5 January.
