Today sees three men’s team playing back to back to back at Walton Bridge Reserve, Field 1. First up is Gerry’s Men’s Under 18 Div 1 who take on Redlands United in a 5th vs 11th clash. Our Under 18's are only 2 points outside the top 4 and need a win to press their claims for finals.
Next up are the Men’s Capital 2 Reserves and Men’s Capital 2 Firsts who both play Oxley. Our Reserves currently sit equal first based on points, but second on goal difference while Oxley’s Reserves sit 10th. A win is vital for our lads if they want to continue their hunt for a premiership.
The Gap Firsts are 7th on the ladder but only 4 points from second place. A win for the boys will certainly make things tight at the top. Capital League 2 is as close as it has ever been and many teams are a chance of snatching that second spot. Meanwhile Oxley’s firsts sit 9th on the ladder and have been spurred on by a run of 3 games undefeated.
