Miniroos Coordinator needed immediately

By Juniors Editor on

Due to unforeseen circumstances, our Miniroos Coordinator needs to stand down immediately. There are lots of good people assisting the coordinator role so things should continue in place, but we urgently need someone to volunteer to fill part / all of the role. Currently, our one volunteer is filling lots of roles so if you could take on parts as below it will make the world of difference to your players.

For all the roles below, a job description is available upon request. For more info please contact Bec on president@gapfootball.org.au.

Board Director – Miniroos

Join the club's Board and have overarching responsibility for the Miniroo program (in-house / Goannas and Girls). This role requires attendance at the monthly board meeting; messaging with the relevant coordinators and coaching director; making strategic directions for the program with support and assistance of the board; and collaborating with club employees and directors from other areas of the club to achieve a united club approach that strives to provide great, fun football for our members. Recruiting volunteers in various Miniroos roles.

In-house Coordinator (Squirts–U7)

Goanna/Gecko Coordinator (U8–U11)

Girls Coordinator (U6–U11)

Responsible for different ages, these three roles report to the Director for Miniroos, lead the individual age coordinators, and help in the pre-season with U6 and U7 team formations, recruiting volunteer coaches and managers, messaging with the uniform coordinator and club registrar. During the season send out messages to age coordinators/managers.

Without volunteers, the club can't deliver the great fun and activities that your children enjoy. Please consider donating some of your precious time to help us help your kids!
