The weekend just gone saw the start of a new season for our Junior Girls competing in the Football Brisbane competitions, and they recorded the following results:
- U12 Girls (grading) – won 4-3 against UQFC
- U13 Div 1 Girls – lost 5-3 at home against Bayside United
- U14 Div 1 Girls – won 4-2 at home against Grange Thistle
- U14 Div 2 Girls – lost 3-2 at home against Bayside United
Performance of the week
This has to go to our U12 Girls. In only their second game together they travelled up to Brighton for their grading game against UQFC, and even though they only had 8 players available, they worked hard for each other throughout the match and were able to come away with a fantastic 4-3 win. With that kind of team spirit, they already have the makings of another great Gap team that we can all be proud of.
