During the mid-year school holidays, most junior teams do not have a scheduled fixture game. Typically the last game before the vacation is Sunday June 18 although some teams will have games the following weekend June 24/25. Most junior fixtures resume on the weekend of the July 15.
To allow for field maintenance and recovery, all of our fields, including Payne Rd SS and The Gap SS, will be closed for two weeks from Monday, June 19 until Sunday, July 2, inclusive except for those teams that have a fixture on the weekend of June 24/25 who can train as usual in the week prior to that game.
It is possible that some areas, such as the southern end of Field 3, will be closed for the following week, depending on progress with grass repairs. A decision on that will be made at the end of June.
Senior teams with fixtures throughout this period will continue to train. If field repairs require their training to be relocated, they will be advised closer to the time.
