Café supervisors wanted

By Juniors Editor on

The club is looking for one or two café supervisors. This is a shared casual role, paid at the award rate, with flexible hours (i.e. you will not be working the same hours each weekend).

Rostering is to be done by the Café Manager to fill shifts for Friday night, all day Saturday, and Sunday. These opening hours may expand in the future.

The key purpose of the role is to supervise staff during the opening, service, and closing of the cafe. There are procedures to follow.

Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate is a plus and will need to be obtained if you don't have one already.

The supervisor on the opening and closing shift is responsible for the management and record-keeping of the cash held in the till.

Some café or other hospitality experience would be ideal, but most importantly, you need to have common sense, be able to provide guidance to the junior staff and troubleshoot, when necessary.

The café is being run as a business to generate funds to support the Club's football programs. You will need to keep track of staff productivity, minimise waste, and be part of a team providing high-quality customer service.

To express your interest, or for any questions, please contact Susan on clubmanager@gapfootball.org.au.
