2015 Women’s National Premier Leagues

By Editor on

The Gap FC (TGFC) is very excited to announce that we have been offered a license in the 2015 National Premier Leagues (NPL) Women’s competition. Please refer to the attached PDF for more information.

The Women’s NPL in South-East Queensland is starting afresh in 2015 as such, there are no “retained players” or “catchment clubs” until designated by Football Queensland.

TGFC is a club that has long history in women's football. With experience gained from being part of the Girls Junior Premier League competition and more recently facilitating the NPL women's program on behalf of Brisbane City in 2013, our mission is to continue our high-quality and affordable female programs to assist girls in realising their dreams of playing representative football.

TGFC understands that cost is one of biggest barriers against female players reaching their full potential. Whilst we cannot yet release fees for a program we do not have, we are committed to keeping the fees as low as possible and have already formed a 10 person strong subcommittee to achieve this goal should we be offered the opportunity to facilitate the program. TGFC has also assembled a high quality coaching lineup whereby all teams will have a head coach and a minimum of one assistant coach.
