Trials

Trials are to be help at Payne Road State School on Friday 20 and 27 March. The trials commence at 6pm sharp.

Players are to wear football clothing and bring football boots, shin pads and a water bottle.

Training

If successful in the trials training will consist of two sixty minute sessions a week. The sessions will be conducted on Monday 7pm and Wednesday at 7pm commencing on Monday 20 April.

There will be three blocks of training throughout the year:

  • Block 1 runs from 20 April to 29 May.
  • Block 2 runs from Monday to 8 June to 31 July.
  • Block 3 runs from 10 August to 18 September.

Dates for talent identification camps and SAP carnivals will be provided when they become available. Venue Information

Training will be held at two venues.

  • Monday night sessions will be conducted at The Gap FC on field 3.
  • Wednesday sessions will be held at Payne Road State School.

Cost

Cost will be $250.

The cost covers coaching, equipment and field usage.

Players will receive 17 weeks of training sessions plus SAP carnivals and a FQ SAP Nike Uniform.

Coach

Our SAP coach is Megan Price. Megan has recently completed her C Youth License and has been appointed on the recommendation of the Football Queensland technical staff.

Megan is a current Gap senior player. Apart from her outstanding playing qualities she is intelligent, articulate and possesses a excellent understanding of the game.
