Junior Fees 2018
The Board of The Gap Football Club has always worked very hard to ensure that we keep our fees as low as possible and this year has been no exception. We also feel it is important that you know what we are spending the registration revenue we receive on. We have provided a pie chart which shows the split across the many areas we have to fund.
This year we are introducing a new part-time paid position of Administrator. This is to help us with the ever-increasing workload that is straining our core volunteer base, including the Board, and draining resources from our football operations to support general club operations. Approximately 4% of the Junior revenue will be used to fund this position.
We are also introducing a First Team Contribution component that will assist with the ongoing competitiveness and financial sustainability of our senior top teams, the first recipient is our Men’s BPL Team. Approximately 2% of the Junior revenue will be used to fund this contribution.
Football Queensland (FQ) have raised their fees this year by $2 to $32.90 and we are now paying them approximately 8% of the junior revenue. Football Brisbane (FB) and Football Federation Australia (FFA) have held their fees steady this year and sit at 5% and 3% respectively of junior revenue.
