Women’s SEQ Diamond League and Sapphire League

Diamond and Sapphire Squad

The Gap will again be fielding a SEQ Diamond League team (previously Open Women’s Premier League) and a FB Sapphire League team (previously Open Women’s Reserves). Selection for these teams will be to a ‘prems’ squad.

The Gap welcomes newcomers to the Club. If you would like to be considered for a place in the ‘prems’ squad please forward your name and details of previous playing experience to Diamonds Coach Rob Askew at randraskew@bigpond.com.

Training for the ‘prems’ squad teams will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 7.00 and 9.00pm and in the pre-season on Sunday afternoons between 4.00 and 6.00pm (location to be confirmed).

Training begins on Tuesday January 22nd. Sunday training sessions are planned for 27th and 3rd February.

All players must register on-line before training on January 22nd. Players are not insured until they have registered. Myfootballclub (mfc) opens at the beggining of January for player and volunteer registrations.

Registration and registration fee payment processes are separate. Payment of registration fees is due by Sunday the 3rd of February (Registration weekend) preferably by direct deposit. Details on how to pay fees will be included on the mfc invoice issued at the time of registration.

In 2013 Registration fees for Diamonds and Sapphire players is $450
