Junior Section Survey Results and Outcomes

By Editor on

Hi all,

I would like to say thank you to everybody who volunteered their time and made the 2013 season such a success. 2013 was the start of our journey towards reestablishing ourselves as a club that delivers a football product that meets the needs of junior competitive and social players alike regardless of age or gender.

We asked you how we went in 2013 and you gave us both positive and constructive feedback. It is now our responsibility to act on the feedback and keep you informed of our progress as we head towards the 2014 season.

For those that love the detail you will find the full report below.

I have prepared a brief summary below and we need to bring the junior committee together as soon as possible to stablish a detailed plan of action.

Overall there was a strong show of support for what we are trying to achieve at our club for the junior players. 84% of respondents were either somewhat or very satisfied with the season overall with 5% in the middle and 11% were dissatisfied.

When we asked if your child enjoyed the season you told us 93% did! You also told us 85% had the opportunity to gain greater football skills and understanding.

You have also made it clear we need to focus on and improve in other areas such as communication, our all girls teams and non high performance teams in the competition age groups. There are plans in place to do this and you will see these rollout in the coming months.

It was very pleasing to see that 84% were likely to recommend the club and that over 90% would be coming back in 2014 with 4% undecided and unfortunately 6% would be moving on.

In closing I would like to encourage everyone to get involved and contribute to making 2014 another successful year for the junior section and the club overall.

Thanks
Peter Randall
Junior Chairman
