The Gap PlayStation® 4 NPL Women came from behind to claim victory 4-2 over Olympic FC in the Grand Final at Walton Bridge Reserve today.

The Grand Final win caps off an unbeaten season and secures their second premiership/champions title double in two years.

Olympic opened the scoring with two early goals to league Golden Boot winner Kirsten Jamieson, but from that point on The Gap dominated the match.

Eden Jones scored first for The Gap with captain Ruth Blackburn bringing us level before half time and then club leading goal scorer Greta Bodey put us in front before  Megan Price put it beyond doubt with a penalty goal late in the match.

The Gators' 22-match winning streak in 2016 sets a new league record and extends their overall unbeaten run to 37 matches since April last year.
