The Gap Pastime club is pleased to announce the appointment of first team coach Gregg Plumb for the men’s Division 2 season in 2012. Gregg currently holds a UEFA B licence and a degree in sports science. He will be supported by former NSL player Steve Turner and gap stalwart Brandon Hall. Further coaching appointments include a club High Performance Manager in Mark Boyd, John Selfige UEFA B licence holder, a fitness coach, a goalkeeper coach and professional physiotherapists. In 2011 The Gap FC finished 6 points from promotion and boasted the league’s top goal scorer in Levi Beel and runner up division 2 player of the season Steve Comino. In 2012 the aim is to again have a successful season with an emphasis on fun and the continual development of the club and its personnel.

The Gap plan to field teams in the following leagues in 2012:

  • Premier Divsion 2 Firsts
  • Premier Divsion 2 Reserves
  • Metro 3′s
  • Metro 4′s
  • Metro 6′s
